Dealer/Supplier/Broker Issues
We deal with a range of issues which may arise in the relationships between our clients and their partners. We advise clients on their rights under sale invoices, trading agreements, master sale agreements, novation agreements and assignments. We deal with issues arising under sections 24 and 25 of the Sale of Goods Act relating to buyer and seller in possession issues.
Missing Assets
We deal with assets that have been placed at risk, exported, stolen or abandoned. We advise clients how best to deal with such cases, and obtain any relevant orders, injunctions and protection orders that may become necessary.
Product Liability and Product Recall
We have acted in many cases involving product liability issues and recall disputes.
Liens and Landlords Distraint
We advise and work on claims involving the attempt (by all sorts of parties) to assert liens over our clients’ assets.
Fraud
We deal with a range of issues which potentially involve fraudulent behaviour or activity. This includes allegations of forged signatures on documentation, authority issues and money laundering or other financial crime. Where appropriate we have instructed handwriting experts and liaised with the police and the Crown Prosecution Service.
Asset Recovery
We will explore the best options for you. If your asset is missing we can direct you on the best method of recovery, whether this be by way of appointing agents specialising in the equipment under the agreement, issuing legal proceedings or by obtaining injunctive relief
