Drafting pre- and post-contractual documentation including all the necessary consumer credit prescribed notices.

 

Assisting on regulatory writing and build of full web-based and application-based credit platforms, whether that be a new launch of an online finance business platforms or supporting a client to launch a direct sales channel. This includes the drafting of all of the documents and screens needed to operate a full online and automated finance platform for the credit and motor and asset finance markets, and meeting all the compliance and governance requirements of the regulator.

 

Providing guidance to interpret legal and regulatory compliance requirements, and interpreting and navigating CONC and the FCA handbook (such as the pre-contract process, approach to credit worthiness and affordability, product suitability, vulnerability, early settlement and APR legislation and complaints management (including FOS), collections and recoveries).

 

Advising on complaint handling processes, supporting the handling of complaints and ongoing compliance with the FCA’s DISP rules and complaint reviews on fairness.
