Auxillias launches new platform to help firms achieve legal and compliance excellence

Auxillias today launches Helping Hands, its new platform to help firms achieve legal and compliance excellence. Designed specifically to in-house professionals working in house operations, compliance and legal professionals working for finance institutions, credit brokers or retail networks offering credit products that are FCA regulated, Helping Hands is a place to come and discuss topical legal, regulatory and compliance matters and network with others who share those interests.  Participants can expect to hear insightful updates from the Auxillias team and invited expert guests, as well work in peer groups to develop understanding..

Speaking about the launch of this new industry-wide forum, Jo Davis, CEO of Auxillias said: “Often we see that legal and compliance issues can be a best kept secret, with only the subject matter experts in firms holding the knowledge. But we know that regulatory topics are important to everyone and so we decided to create ‘Helping Hands’ to democratise this subject across the landscape of FCA regulated organisations.”

And true to Jo’s word, Helping Hands welcomes colleagues from far and wide including credit and finance institutions, credit brokers, point of sale retailers and technology providers. Helping Hands is an industryfirst, bringing together a community across the credit, asset finance, leasing and automotive sectors.

The plan is for Helping Hands to kick-off with a bi-monthly virtual meeting on Zoom supported by a flagship annual conference. Speaking about the format, Jo said: “In the first session the senior team from Auxillias will provide an interactive update on the new consumer duty because this is front of mind for everyone. We will take some time with the group to shape the agenda in coming months. And we are serious about democratising the regulatory agenda, so we will be offering participants the chance to get involved by planning and chairing future meetings with our support.”

The first meeting will take place on Tuesday 15 November, 9.30 – 11.30am and those interested can register here.
