Dan Richards joins Auxillias as head of remediation programmes

New appointment supports launch of Auxillias’ commission and redress programme support service

Auxillias, the specialist legal and compliance firm serving the consumer, motor and asset finance sectors, has appointed Dan Richards to lead its remediation programmes at a time when regulatory pressure on the motor finance sector is reaching a critical point. The move supports the forthcoming launch of Auxillias’ new commission and redress programme support service, designed to help firms prepare for the anticipated fallout from the Supreme Court’s upcoming decision in the Johnson case.

Dan brings more than 25 years’ experience delivering complex remediation and transformation programmes across UK financial services. He has worked on many of the most high-profile initiatives in the sector - including PPI, complaints handling, Section 166 reviews and financial crime - and is widely recognised for delivering clear, practical outcomes under pressure.

Speaking about his new role, Dan said: “I’m really pleased to be joining Auxillias at such an important time. The launch of the new commission and redress programme support service shows we’re ready to help firms respond with confidence to the challenges ahead.”

As CEO of Profexx Partners, a firm focused on tech-enabled remediation, Dan continues to support strategic remediation initiatives across the industry.

Jo Davis, CEO of Auxillias, welcomed the appointment: “We’re delighted to have Dan on board. His track record speaks for itself. With the Supreme Court ruling due soon, we’re already working closely with clients to get them prepared for what comes next. Dan is a key part of that team – helping firms assess risk, plan ahead and stay on the front foot.”

More information on the new service will be announced shortly.
