We are excited to announce that we have now planned our draft agenda as follows:

  • 9.30 - 9.35am: Welcome and introductions

  • 9.35 - 9.45am: Update on Commissions Disclosure

  • 9.45 - 10.05am: The cost of living crisis and the financial pressure placed on families; Q&A (Jason Wassell, CCTA) 

  • 10.05 – 10.30am:  Vulnerability in a Consumer Duty World - what does good look like? Q&A (Robert Bell, Money Advice Trust)  

  • 10.30 – 10.50am: Governance, policies and procedures update - to include ongoing monitoring, expectations of intermediary oversight / what is reasonable following the implementation of Consumer Duty; Q&A 

  • 10.50  – 11.00am: Audit, MI and digital solutions now that we are under the FCA data-based focus; Q&A 

  • 11.00 - 11.25am: Breakout session - what is considered good MI in the new Consumer Duty world?  Feedback to whole group

  • 11.25 – 11.30am: Close

 

By popular request we have Robert Bell doing another session on vulnerablility - this time looking at practical steps to ensure vulnerability is identified and monitored.  We also have Jason Wassell, CEO of the Consumer Credit Trade Association talking about the cost of living crisis - very much the topic du jour.
